  Art stores are always selling those interesting "hand made" papers, so I bought some, mounted them on foam core and then painted in a way that the background was the bare paper. There will be 9 or so in this series. 18" x 24" House paint on hand made paper.

Western Montana Truck

 

House paint on illustration board. I like how it seems to "glow" by painting some areas in washes, others opaque. 22" x 28"

After almost a year of painting on neutral background paper, I have made a small series on cold pressed illustration board. Working on white was a nice change. House paint (still) on illustration board 22" x 28"

Sunday in the Park... going to the sun road

 
For now I have finished my Glacier Park series at 27. Will let them "mellow" and then revisit them to see what I have done. This is a view of the Going-to-the-Sun road near Logan pass. House paint on paper 18" x 24"
